THE SERATA – which means Italian for “an evening out” – is in our beautiful new, downtown salon located on Fifth Avenue. The first and only concept of its kind in Pittsburgh, THE SERATA is an intimate styling and relaxation space situated on the mezzanine level our of Fifth Avenue salon. Designed to meet every need of our bridal parties, THE SERATA features a private space for party guests and an expert SERATA team featuring formal hair designers, makeup artists, nail technicians and massage therapists. At Izzazu, our goal is to keep our brides and their entourage, stress free and picture perfect on their special day. We’ve also launched SERATA SOIREES in the space as well. These intimate gatherings fall directly in line with the current “social spa-ing” trend. We’ve hosted corporations for client entertaining events, girlfriends for a fun “girls’ night out,” and social groups out for a unique networking experience. We offer “Freshen Up Services” such as, turning guests’ daytime hair into a sleek evening look, polish changes and mini-massage services. To tie it all together, we work with an array of fabulous restaurant and catering partners, who can provide refreshments and delectable treats.
